Dr. A. M. Rajani is an Honorary Asst. Professor in Orthopaedics at Grant Medical College and JJ Group of Hospitals. He practices as a Consultant Knee and Shoulder Surgeon at Breach Candy Hospital, Saifee Hospital and Bhatia Hospital. He is also affiliated with Wockhardt Hospital and Hinduja Healthcare.
After being honoured with a Gold Medal in Orthopaedics from the University of Mumbai, and receiving Dr. MV Sant prize and Lupin prize for excellence in Orthopaedics, Dr. Rajani took sub-specialty training in the field of Arthroscopy & Joint Replacement.
Apart from Indian fellowships in Total Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy, Dr. Rajani also has extensive training in Knee Surgery, Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine, internationally.
Training at the University of Toronto, Canada; Huddersfield Hospital Manchester, UK; University of York, UK; Chulalongkorn University Hospital, Bangkok; Singapore General Hospital; Computer Navigated Joint Replacement Training from Melbourne, Australia and an advanced training in Partial Knee Replacement from the University of Seoul, Korea are among his other impressive credentials.
He believes that there is no end to learning, especially with the rapid advancement in technology. Even with his busy practice, he never misses an opportunity to travel abroad at least once a year to learn about the latest technological advancements in Knee & Shoulder Surgery.
Apart from training orthopaedic resident doctors at Grant Medical College as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Rajani also conducts various workshops on Knee & Shoulder Surgery for Orthopaedic Surgeons around India who wish to learn the finer aspects of Joint Replacement & Arthroscopy.
